Being away from home can be challenging for young children, but Brantley Gilbert says his 20-month-old son Barrett did great the first time he took him out on tour with him. He does admit, however, that his wife Amber might have a different perspective.
"I think he did wonderful, but I'm kind of in and out during the day when we're on the road," explains Brantley in a statement from his label. "She's in a hundred percent."
"In the thick of it, yeah," adds his tourmate and "What Happens In a Small Town" duet partner, Lindsay Ell.
"Yeah, so I think our take on how good he did is probably based on experience," continues Brantley. "But honestly, after a day or two when he gets his sleep and kind of in his routine, he's absolutely fine."
