Brett Young is not only appreciative of his own mother, but also the women who have parented his parents.
"I've also been blessed to have incredible grandmoms and to see how they impacted my mom and my dad and made them the people that they've become," says the "Here Tonight" singer in a statement from his label. "And so Mother's Day is extremely important because the job of a mother is one of the most important.
"And I'm so grateful to my mom and my grandmoms and all the women in the lineage that came before them, because it's such a sometimes thankless job, but they do it so selflessly and I'm so grateful for it."
