As we celebrate Labor Day Weekend, Brett Young reflects on the jobs he had before music.
"My first 'job' job was the summer before my senior year [of high school]," he recalls to his label. "I started working construction, and then I went away to college, and then I got the opportunity to go work for this restaurant, but as like, a busboy. And then I worked my way up to waiter.
"So, anything from construction to waiting tables to bussing tables to bartending - even when I moved to L.A., even all the way up until I moved to Nashville I was still bartending in Santa Monica," he continues.

"So, I think the willingness to do any and everything as long as it provided me the opportunity to still pursue music, I was willing to do any of that."
