Cassadee Pope has shared her next album will be a stripped down, acoustic one. It also marks the first time she's had a hand in writing every song on an album, and her first experience as co-producer as well.
"Rise and Shine is a collection of songs that talk about where I've been and where I'm headed," Cassadee notes in a press release. "I wanted people to hear these in their purest form, so I went with a more stripped back sound that really lets the lyrics stand out.
"My hope is that these songs help aid people into feeling every emotion they need to let out."
Although the full project won't be available until August 7th, the "Wasting All These Tears" singer will share the first two tracks, "Let Me Go" and "Built This House," this Friday.
