Cole Swindell wasted no time playing hits at Stagecoach.

Launching into four powerful songs before taking a moment to take in the sheer size of the crowd, he noted during "Middle of a Memory," that, "If I'm not in the middle of a memory right now, I don't know that I've ever been in one."

He went on to perform the first song he'd ever been part of that had earned a Grammy nomination, "Break Up in the End," thanking the songwriters, before going into the album cut, "20 in a Chevy."

"I'm so lucky to get to do what I love for a living. Music's always been there for me. I just want people to feel the way that I feel. I moved to Nashville to be a songwriter. If this is the best song I'm ever part of, I'm cool with that," he confessed as introduced an especially subdued version of "You Should Be Here."

He brought the party back with "Chillin' It" and "Flatliner," with Dierks Bentley singing his part of the duet in a recorded video.

He gave a salute to '90s country with a version of Tim McGraw's "I Like It, I Love It," and Travis Tritt's "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)" served as an intro to "Ain't Worth the Whiskey," along with a gracious acknowledgement of military, police, and firefighters, and a reminder to the audience not to let an ex ruin their weekend.

And with as loudly as the crowd was singing along, it was clear there was no danger of that happening.
