Greg Zanis, the retired carpenter whose memorial crosses have brought comfort to thousands, including friends and family of Route 91 victims, has passed.
A GoFundMe account created by his daughter, originally designed to raise funds for his Crosses for Losses, reported that Zanis had personally built and delivered over 27000 crosses for memorials, including 58 after the tragic events at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in 2017. He set up the memorial again on the one year anniversary of the tragedy.

He passed away yesterday (May 4th) after a battle with bladder cancer.
