Amidst a battle with a rare brain condition, Drake White has decided to take a break from touring.
Earlier this month, the soulful singer revealed, after nearly collapsing on stage, that back in January, he'd been diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. He continued to perform while undergoing treatment, including a performance at the Brandin' Iron in San Bernardino in June.
Now Drake is announcing that he'll be taking a break from touring to focus on getting well.
"He is in the best hands possible and is going to take a break from touring for a while, in order to make a full recovery and get back to 100%," a post on his social media accounts noted. "Please continue to keep the prayers and good vibes coming for our warrior. "
