Filmore played to a very enthusiastic crowd Thursday night (October 17th) at the Canyon in Montclair, performing a set that was comprised of his own emotional songs, as well as covers from Keith Urban to the Killers, and a version of Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance" that had the dancers in the audience break out for an impromptu "After Party" line dance.
He recalled that the very first place he'd ever performed his song "Left Our Mark" was earlier in the year at Stagecoach, and included his new song, "Other Girl," which lyrically, is a much sweeter song than the title would imply. He described "Wild" as being a true story "about losing everything you've ever worked for," and noted that "Love That About You" was "about a girl I don't talk to any more."
