Florida Georgia Line received a nice surprise backstage at their concert at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine Saturday night (September 28th); they were told that they were the recipients of three Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade Awards!
The duo picked up nods for the ACM's first-ever Breakout Artist of the Decade, ACM Single of the Decade (for "Cruise"), and ACM Music Event of the Decade for "Meant to Be" (with Bebe Rexha).
"This is just wild to us," they posted on social media.
Earlier this month, the Academy of Country Music announced Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me" was being honored as Song of the Decade, while Rhett Akins was named Songwriter of the Decade, and Chris Stapleton was awarded Artist-Songwriter of the Decade.
