"I know it's the last night. You aren't too tired, are ya?" Jason Aldean asked the crowd on Day Three of Stagecoach 2019.
"We played the very first Stagecoach about nine years ago," he recalled (the first Stagecoach actually took place in 2007, but Jason was indeed a featured act). "We played in the middle of the day, and to be back as a headliner is really cool." (This is the second time Jason has headlined the festival.)
He and his band had been off the road for about the month, and the closing night of Stagecoach was their second time on stage since.
"I know we got a lot of guys from Route 91 here tonight, and the last time we saw you, we got a little cut off, so let's finish it up," he said as he began "When She Says Baby."
His hour and a half set contained hit after hit, and by saying that he thought making fans wait for an encore was a waste of time, prepared the crowd for the end of his show (and the weekend) with a finale consisting of his most popular songs, including "Dirt Road Anthem," "The Only Way I Know," "She's Country," and more.
