Multiple outlets have reported that Josh Turner's road crew bus was involved in a fatal accident last night following a performance at the Vino Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.
The "Hometown Girl" singer and his band were not on the bus when it veered off of Highway 46 near Shandon and over a cliff. Unfortunately, one member of his road crew perished in the accident, and seven others were injured, two with major injuries and five with moderate injuries.
The Northeast Mississippi Digital Journal identified the deceased man as 64 year old sound engineer David Turner, not related to Josh Turner, who has postponed the remainder of his concert dates.
The CHP is investigating the accident, which Josh's label has described as a "devastating loss."
