Severe thunderstorms hit New York City today, including a lightning strike that came awfully close to the Statue of Liberty!
One twitter user caught it on video, prompting comments like, "Great metaphor for 2020," and "If this was a movie, the aliens would roll in behind the Statue of Liberty."
