After a month break performing, Luke Bryan returned to the Stagecoach Mane Stage rested and anxious to entertain.
A brief DJ set preceded his performance, while Luke had the crowd on their feet the entire time, starting with the danceable "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)."
He played his current song, "Knockin' Boots" back to back with his debut single, "All My Friends Say," while he effortlessly transitioned from "Someone Else Callin' You Baby" into "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye."
"Good God, there's a lot of people here tonight!" he exclaimed. "This is Day One. Y'all have to pace yourselves. I don't know how you drink for three days in this dry heat."
Things turned romantic for a three-song set that included "Strip It Down," "Drunk on You," and "Crash My Party," then went old-school for a cover of Alabama's "Mountain Music."
He brought Cole Swindell back on stage for a song they wrote with Florida Georgia Line (which the duo eventually turned into a single). Unfortunately, technical issues plagued what should have been one of the highlights of the night.
As the show came to a close, "Rain Is a Good Thing" has the audience clapping to the beat and dancing to "That's My Kind of Night," as Luke signed off with, "This has been the best crowd ever!"
