Midland fans can now re-live (or experience for the first time) Midland's iconic one-night-only performance at the resurrected Palomino Nightclub in North Hollywood, thanks to a live album that was recorded that night in October. "Midland Live From The Palomino" will drop on February 28th.
"Reviving this historic Los Angeles honky tonk for a one-night-only performance was a dream come true and we cant wait to share it with y'all," the band posted on social media.
The legendary venue opened in 1949 and served as a launching pad for artists like Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, and Buddy Miller before closing in 1995. Artists who have headlined the Palomino, which would have celebrated its 70th anniversary this year, include Merle Haggard, Charlie Rich, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Emmylou Harris.
