A mother-daughter pilot team find themselves suddenly famous and inspiring millions, after the chancellor of an aeronautical university was a passenger on a flight they were piloting from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
"Just flew with this mother daughter flight crew on Delta from LAX to ATL. Awesome," posted John R. Watret of the world-renowned Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Captain Wendy Ruxon and her daughter and First Officer Kelly Ruxon come from a family of pilots. According to Yahoo, Wendy's father is a retired pilot; her husband is a pilot with American, and the couple's other daughter Kate is also a pilot.
