As a kid, most everyone has a hero they look up to, and Riley Green is no exception.
"I played football, baseball and basketball all the way through high school," he recalls in a statement from his label. "I love basketball. Baseball was great. I'm a decent baseball player. I think I'm scared of the ball a little bit.
"But I think football was always my sport, and there's something about when you're the quarterback, like you're the guy, you touch the ball every time," the "There Was This Girl" singer continues. "It's hard to play a sport where there's nine guys out there. I struggled with that in baseball because I always want to be 'the guy,' you know.
"But I think football was always my sport. I was a big Cowboys fan. I always wanted to be quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. I still wear Brut Cologne from Wal-Mart cause Troy Aikman wore it, you know, he was in that one commercial."
