Riverside County residents are being urged to get tested for COVID-19 - whether they have symptoms or not, especially as more and more businesses reopen. Doing so will help health officials understand where in our community the disease is present, and where it is not.

In addition to getting tested, residents are also encouraged to continue wearing face masks and practice social distancing.

"We forecasted sporadic outbreaks through the summer, and those forecasts so far are coming true," said Riverside County Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser in a press release. "It's time to think about what the fall will bring, and those initial estimates aren't good. If we're not observing social distancing and facial coverings - two things that helped before and are helping now - we're going to lose the progress we've made.

Testing sites are available in Riverside, Jurupa Valley, Perris, Corona, Beaumont, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Desert Hot Springs, and Cathedral City. Click here for more info or to make an appointment.
