Sara Evans has announced that she'll deliver a new album in May, and a memoir on September 8th.

The new album will be covers of songs that have influenced her and will be called Copy That, and the memoir, "Born to Fly" after her 2000 smash hit and album of the same title.
“I am so excited to release my memoir this year,” the 2006 ACM Top Female Vocalist said in a press release. “With 2020 being the twentieth anniversary of my Born To Fly album release, which was such a pivotal project for me and my career on so many levels, this book really brings everything full circle. I am so proud of how it all came together and can’t wait to share it with everyone."

In a Talk Shop Live video, Sara revealed that the book will cover her very public divorce from Craig Schelske and eventually finding happiness with her current husband sportscaster Jay Barker), along with growing up a tomboy in Missouri, with two older brothers and four younger sisters; being the lead singer in her family's Evans Family Band at age 6, being hit by a car at age 8, and her parents' divorce.

She also offers advice for aspiring musicians, step-parenting and blending households, and discusses balancing her career and motherhood.

Both the book and album are available for pre-order now.
