The guys in the Eli Young Band are looking forward to eating in restaurants again.

“Staring at the same four walls day after day after day, and cookin’ the same meals day after day after day, I think one thing that kinda comes to the front of my head is like, we’ve gotten into a routine where every third or fourth day has become leftover dinner," shares bassist Jon Jones in a statement from the band's label. "Where we just reheat stuff that’s left over from the past few nights.

"And I’m really excited for that to end. But it’s really just made me realize, like how much I appreciate restaurants and people that cook every single night, and that I don’t think I’m built for that.”

“It’s really hard not to UberEats," adds lead singer Mike Eli. "Obviously it gets really expensive if you continue to do it over and over again, but I’ve realized how repetitive dinner is. It comes every day.  And when you’re feeding kids…”

“Those guys eat like three or four meals a day!" interjects Jon, who also shared the confusion about time that quarantine causes for some people. "We did like pizza for dinner one night and then it was pizza for breakfast the next morning. And then we did breakfast for dinner. We did like pancakes for dinner.”
