As the father of two young kids, a seven year old daughter, and a year and a half year old son, Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band loves Christmas....except for one thing.
"For better or for worse, when glitter starts floating around, I kinda give a little eye roll to Christmas," he confesses in a statement from the band's label. "Because that is the only thing that I don't like about Christmas is glitter.
"I live in a house full of girls, and they like glitter, and that's just one of those things that is a part of the holidays," he continues. "So, they're very nice and understanding sometimes and try to pull back the amount of glittery items that make their way into the house. But it's funny because we get rid of the glitter, it takes six to seven months before you ever get rid of all the glitter, and then it's back in November. So, there's a lot of it. Ahhh, the holidays and glitter."
We'll try to keep the glitter to a minimum when EYB plays Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula on Sunday, April 19th.
