While face coverings are an every day part of life is this weird pandemic world we live in now, ten years ago, they were farm from the norm, and an episode from the first season of "Shark Tank" has proven to be eerily prescient.

Irina Blok presented a pitch for "Face Blok," a collection of fashion surgical masks "designed for people with an edgy sense of humor. Taking something sterile and uninteresting as a surgical mask and infusing it with fun and creativity creates a really unique product."

Blok's pitch came at the time of concerns about swine flu, causing the Sharks concern about the marketability of the product when that pandemic came to an end. Turns out - she was about a decade ahead of her time. Watch here:

Reflecting on her experience, Blok told Vulture, "It seems so surreal how something that was done ten years ago is more relevant today. I wish that wasn't the case and we didn't have the pandemic.

"If we could predict the future, we could all be rich."

Meanwhile, Blok's creativity is still in full force.
