It's hard to be a fan of Thomas Rhett and not also be a fan of his wife, Lauren, with many people considering them to be the epitome of "couple goals."
That responsibility of being such a role model prompted Lauren to write a memoir, which comes out next Tuesday, August 18th, and Thomas could not be more proud of his wife.
“It’s hard to read in the best way," Thomas confesses in a statement from his label. "This book really gets into severe detail of the adoption process, of what it was like when we first had kids and what it was like when I first got on the road and she had just graduated from Tennessee with a nursing degree and didn’t use her nursing degree.
"And like, talks about her childhood and what shaped her into the person she is now. And I mean, it’s a memoir. So you have to be really invested to know that this is a story of her life.
“I don’t read books," he continues. "The last book I read was Harry Potter, but this book is absolutely fantastic, and I am biased because she’s my wife but I think it’s a really, really great read and I think it’s gonna encourage and inspire a lot of 7 and 8 year old girls and also inspire a lot of people a lot older than 7 and 8.
"Just to learn that your decisions have weight and your words have weight and to really think about the choices you make in life. And it’s truly inspiring.”
