A new viral video shows what an impact the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine has had on the business and every day hustle and bustle of downtown Riverside.
Normally teaming with activity, the video shows empty streets exemplifying what a Ghost Town the usually very busy hub of the city has become due to social distancing and more and more people working from home. Landmarks in the video include the Mission Inn, Main Street Mall, the Municipal Auditorium, public library, and more.

Over the weekend, Riverside County Health Officer Cameron Kaiser ordered that Riverside County residents traveling for essential work or business to wear face masks or coverings while out in public, and forbade any gatherings of any number of people living in separate residences.
