Brett Young and his wife Taylor are gearing up to becoming parents in the early fall, and the couple is looking forward to all the changes a baby will bring into their lives. And now that they know it's going to be a little girl, Brett is well aware that she's going to have him wrapped around her finger.
"I know people say this, then they are given a hard time for saying this because nobody really believes it, but it's totally true for me and Taylor, we didn't have a preference because we want to have more than one child, and at the end of it we'd like to have at least one of each," Brett reveals in a statement from his label.
"But we really didn't care what this was. We just wanted a healthy baby. And so, because we had no expectations, it made it more fun because you have really nothing on the line. You just get to be excited and surprised. And so, initially, like, happy tears and excitement, but a couple of days after the realization came to me that I'm gonna probably have to get used to a lot of pink in my house – not just having a girl but the first one being a girl.
"Not like there's gonna be some pink and some blue in the house. We're gonna have a pink house, and I can't wait. I've wanted to be a dad for a long time, and I can't even imagine if I love my wife this much, how much more even it's going to be when it's my little girl."
