The mission of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education and information, research, and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome. The Angelman Syndrome Foundation Walk will take place at Ocean Air Park in San Diego on Saturday, May 17th, one of 50 walks that will also take place around the nation on this day, in support of patients with Angelman Syndrome. Ashley Weinberg, the ASF San Diego Walk Coordinator, and mother to a little boy who has Angelman Syndrome, discusses this event.
