May is Mental Health month and I'm embarking on a journey called Miles for Mental Health. I'm pedaling as many miles as I can across Southern California to raise money for Project Sanctuary, a non-profit that helps out military families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
Veteran Army Sergeant and Corona, CA native, Jordan Sisco, served overseas back in 2012. He stepped on an IED leading him to lose both legs and his left thumb. Sisco walks us through the day of his traumatic injury and how he's been able to overcome his mental health hurdles.
