If you’re a college student getting ready to graduate, or even the parent of one, you probably know this time of year can feel a little nerve-wracking. Late winter and early spring are peak hiring seasons for many employers, and interviews are starting to line up for new grads heading into the workforce. But what exactly are employers looking for right now—and how can students stand out?

Lisa Blair, Director of the Career Center at California Baptist University, has spent years researching how universities can better prepare students for the real world, and shares her insight into what today’s employers want to see from the next generation of job seekers.
