With a single like "Beers and Sunshine," it's practically a prerequisite that the singer like beer. And fortunately, Darius Rucker does. A lot. Now, he just needs some summer weather this year so he can fully live the song.
“I like any kind of beer," he declares in a statement from his label. "I like a good lager, you know, a good Heinekin or a Stella or a Peroni or something like that, but I haven’t had a lot of sunshine.
"I’ve been down to Charleston a little bit, but 61 is not really sunshine," he continues with a laugh. "I want it to be 80. I hope [Punxsutawney] Phil’s wrong, ‘cause I’m ready for the winter to go away.”
