Disney+ gave fans of a classic 90's trilogy an early Christmas gift when they released the long awaited trailer for the Mighty Ducks reboot, "Game Changers.
The nostalgia is real as Emilio Estevez, who plays Ducks coach Gordon Bombay in the original films, reprises his role and leads a new flock on the ice, which includes Gilmore Girls Lauren Graham.
The series focuses on a 13-year-old boy who can't seem to cut it on the junior division Mighty Ducks team, who are now the powerhouse of youth hockey. After getting kicked off the team, his mom decides to start their own team.
When the series was originally announced, episodes were expected to be released in late 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the show will likely be released in 2021.
