Waiting in line for the Haunted Mansion is about to get even spookier!

Disneyland has announced that the grounds for its beloved attraction will undergo a metamorphosis next year, featuring an expanded outdoor queue tying in the legends and folklore surrounding the Haunted Manion, including new gardens inspired by Master Gracey, Madame Leota, and the one-eyed cat. The pet cemetery and horse-drawn funeral hearse will continue to reside on the grounds as well.

The carriage house of the mansion will also be transformed into a standalone retail shop, allowing Madam Leota's presence to be felt beyond the walls of the mansion itself. Guests with disabilities will also benefit from a new elevator exit from the attraction.

Construction is slated to begin in January, 2024, and while there's no word on when or if the Haunted Mansion will be shut down while these upgrades happen, we're dying to find out!
