Baseball players are tough, but so are the announcers.

Dodgers sideline reporter, David Vassegh, took a ride down "Bernie's Chalet," which is a long yellow slide at Milwaukee's All American Ballpark.

Vassegh broke his arm and fractured six ribs after flying down the slide before hitting what looks to be a padded wall.

Mascot "Bernie Brewer" is typically the one who makes his way down the slide when a Brewers player hits a home run and now we know why it's better left to the mascot.

Even with the injuries, Vassegh was able to continue working the the game that night and will probably avoid the slide the next time the tame has a game in Milwaukee.
