According to BlackDoctor.org, 75% of African Americans are lactose intolerant, as are most people of color, but non-dairy options frequently come with a higher price. In December, Starbucks announced that it was dropping the upcharge for dairy alternatives in the U.K. That was less than three weeks after a small non-profit and non-dairy advocate Switch4Good issued an attention-getting mock press release and video saying that Starbucks was dropping its non-dairy beverage upcharge.

Was that a coincidence? Maybe. But now, Switch4Good is encouraging Starbucks to do the same with its 9,000 stores in the U.S. Dotsie Bausch, American cyclist, Olympic silver medalist, and Executive Director for Switch4Good, discusses the organization's "Justice Cup" campaign and and their "brandalism" approach to making positive change.
