Those of us who were alive on September 11th, 2001, remember exactly where we were when we heard the news of the terrorist attacks. But Flight Attendant Katie Donatelli (mother to our own Anthony Donatelli!), who was working the morning on 9/11, on a flight from Boston scheduled for Los Angeles, was closer to everything that happened than she ever could have imagined, and but for the grace of God was not on one of the hijacked flights. She discusses coming into contact with the crew that was, what happened after her flight landed, her emotional reunion with her family, and how she thinks the U.S. (and the travel industry) has changed since 9/11.
