Pets are family — and when families need support, having trusted local resources can make all the difference.

The Humane Society of the San Bernardino Valley is an organization that focuses on keeping pets healthy and in their homes through vital community services. From low-cost spay and neuter programs to affordable veterinary care, pet food assistance, and outreach efforts, they’re helping prevent suffering and reduce overpopulation right here in the Inland Empire.

HSSBV Executive Director Jill Henderson discusses why spay and neuter services are such a critical part of their mission, what support is available for pet owners who may be struggling financially, how they’re educating the next generation about responsible pet care, the biggest challenges facing pets and their families in our community right now, and a couple of fun ways you can support this non-profit!
