K-Frog's 32nd Birthday Bash at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa headlined by Jordan Davis and featuring Walker Hayes and Tenille Arts felt like a family reunion after the pandemic forced last year's event to be a no-go.
The rush of being back on stage is still evident in the artists. Headliner Jordan Davis deviated from his planned setlist significantly, reading the crowd to plot out his next song. The "Cinderella" story of Walker Hayes, who just a few years ago was working overnights at Costco to pay the bills, had the crowd cheering for the now household name, and Tenille Arts is still riding high from having a #1 single in "Somebody Like That," noting that that career success had helped her manage through the pandemic.
The artists clearly enjoyed the festivities as much as the crowd. "These fans out here, they love my music more than anyone else," Tenille shared backstage. Perhaps Walker's exclamation after his set best summed up the entire night, though, "That was freaking fun!"
