Back in February, Maya Benperlas, President and Co-Founder of Viva Global Rescue in Temecula, was a guest on "Eye on the Community," discussing how this organization is working to provide rescue and sanctuary to farm animals. Unfortunately, since then, Maya was in a devastating car accident, leaving her with a badly broken jaw, months of recovery, and the rescue without its most ardent caregiver and supporter.
Funds are needed to help feed and care for the animals during Maya's recovery, and Lexi's Legacy Foundation, a non-profit based in Georgia, is stepping up to host a fundraiser to provide some badly needed funds to help Viva Rescue through this challenging time.
