This sweet guy is a warrior! He survived parvo as a baby and is now looking for his forever people! He's been with ARE Animal Rescue for 2 years, and this big boy is looking for a loving home willing to take the time to teach him what all those creature comforts we take for granted are; couch naps, Netflix binges, lazy Sundays, etc.
After this much time in a shelter environment, Chestnut will probably need some extra time to acclimate to his people but, from experience, he will be your absolute best friend once he settles in! He has done well with other dogs his size while in the rescue's care and has lots of energy to play!
It's recommended that Chestnut be in an adult-only home, as the few children he's met seem to cause him some stress. He's a unique and wonderful dog looking for a unique and wonderful home where he can spend the rest of his days in.
