Randy Savvy is giving country fans his own style of country, "street country". He told The Wake Up Call it's the "best of both worlds". Randy says he grew up listening to 90's country like Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and Reba McEntire, but also listened to hip hop like Westside Connection and TuPac.

Randy said the one song you have to listen to is "First Rodeo". That song will give you a glimpse of what his music is all about. He said, "it's dark, it's deep, it's heavy, but it's all about righteousness".

Randy is a part of The Compton Cowboys, which is an equestrian club out of Compton, California. He said that being involved with horses and rodeos when he was younger "kept us safe and kept us outta the streets". Now The Compton Cowboys continue to do the same for younger generations.

The Compton Cowboys were out at Stagecoach in April and tomorrow (7/9/22) they'll be performing at the Palomino Festival in Pasadena.
