World Rabies Day is coming up on Thursday, September 28 and Riverside County Public Health and Department of Animal Services are teaming up to promote health and safety for people and pets. In addition, RCDAS will be offering free rabies vaccines for pets on September 28th at their Jurupa Valley and Coachella Valley shelters. Barbara Cole, Director for Disease Control for Riverside University Health System Public Health, discusses the signs of symptoms of a rabies infection, treatment, and how serious the disease is.
