With the passing of Betty White on New Years' Eve, a viral challenge has gone out on social media: On what would have been her 100th birthday on January 17th, people are being asked to donate $5 to an animal rescue or shelter in her honor.

Sale Ranch in Temecula is a 100% off grid non-profit sanctuary offering rescue and refuge to animals discarded by our food industry, currently home to approximately 100 residents.
