The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture in Riverside recently celebrated its second anniversary, an important milestone in its legacy as one of the nation's first permanent spaces dedicated to Chicano art. Already, nearly 100,000 visitors have participated in the museum's programs in Riverside, and beyond, spotlighting the city's culturally rich community as a destination for art lovers. And over 10,000 students have participated in school tours and art classes.
