Tim McGraw is releasing a brand new song tonight, "Standing Room Only". After listening to an advanced copy, it's definitely in the same vein as "Live Like You Were Dying". You can listen to the Audacy World Premiere of the song tonight at 9pm on K-Frog.
Tim McGraw joined David and Kelli of The Wake Up Call and discussed the song and why he feels "fortunate" to have it.
The song reflects on your impact you have on the world and what happens once you're gone. When asked what Tim considers his biggest accomplishment, he quickly answered "my girls". There's no denying Tim is a family man and he wasted no time in boasting about his daughters and wife. He credited them for staying grounded given the "craziness that they grew up with".
Tim McGraw is no stranger to the silver screen staring in movies like "The Blind Side" and "Country Strong", but most recently his acting talent was on display in "1883". Tim wouldn't divulge any information on a specific role, but did say he was working on some logistics for upcoming projects.
With new music on the horizon it's time for Tim to hit the road again. Locally we'll get to see him on stage at Coastal Country Jam this September in Long Beach.
