Undercover Santa arrests thieves in Riverside

Someone's getting coal for Christmas and Santa won't even have to check his list twice, because Santa's the one who arrested some bad kids in Riverside.
Santa and his elf were part of an undercover operation to target thieves at a busy shopping center.
According to Riverside Police Department's Instagram post, this "holiday enforcement program" was put together to target the increase in retail theft during the holidays. This operation was named "Santa's Intervention".
Detectives and officers worked with the loss prevention team at the Target in Canyon Springs. Suspects were caught on surveillance video stealing. Once they left the store Santa and his elf waited outside to arrest them.
