How many people do you know who are making plans to move out of California, or have already done so?
ABC-TV, in partnership with National Geographic, will present a five-part series starting February 1st called "California Dreamin': The Future of the Golden State." It'll look at the future of what the California dream means and the people working to find solutions to keep the dream alive, all while dealing with income inequality, wildfires and earthquakes.
The series will be featured on local ABC-7 newscasts next week at 4pm, and culminate with a 30-minute special on Saturday, February 6th at 9pm. While each episode explores issues like housing, the cost of living, and natural disasters, it also shares real-time solutions.
The series will also be available on Hulu, and an extended version of the documentary is available on the ABC7 Los Angeles's app.
