From “Get A Dog,” to “Happyland Trailer Park” and “Don’t Do It In Texas,” Offerman clearly has a way of turning heads with just a title and there’s a lot more where that came from with her next release.
During an interview at Tortuga Music Festival, Offerman told Audacy’s Rob + Holly about her new song, “I Killed A Man,” arriving April 21.
“The funny thing about this song is whenever I say ‘I’m going to play you this song called ‘I Killed A Man,’ all the girls are like [giggling],” Offerman said before explaining the actual meaning of the song.
“I’m like, ‘No, this isn’t about murdering your ex-boyfriend, it’s heartbreak.’ Every body has felt it,” she said. “I feel like this song is really special to me and I’ve never heard anybody say it like this and coming from a female perspective. I think it’s unique.”
“I Killed A Man,” will be available April 21.
