Country artist Jordan Davis is in a Google war with a 6-foot-6, 341-pound football player

Jordan Davis is getting a big lesson in sharing these days. As it turns out, Davis shares a first and last name with an NFL football player from Georgia who was selected as the 1st round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles.

While news coverage is spiking for football Jordan, Country music Jordan is getting left in the dust on Google. “We fight for like who’s on top of the Google [search results],” Country singer Jordan Davis said after teasing he was actually the one who got drafted. “He’s winning right now.”

Jordan went on to tease football Jordan asking him to have a "mediocre career" so Country Jordan could stay atop the Google results. “I don’t wish him bad, but if you could just have a mediocre career, that would be awesome,” he laughed before quickly re-thinking his request. “Actually, that is a big man! I do not want to make that guy mad!”

Good call, Jordan! Turns out sharing is a really good look for him as he reached the #1 spot in Country music with his song, “Buy Dirt,” which he shared with Country superstar, Luke Bryan.

Jordan performed “Buy Dirt,” during his set at Stagecoach Country music festival over the weekend as the crowd sang right along. No doubts over here that’ll he’ll make up any lost ground on this Google searches!
