In celebration of their third studio album, The Last Resort: Greetings From, on May 6, Midland’s Cam Duddy, Mark Wystrach and Jess Carson are hanging out with Rob + Holly for the Friday Night Takeover.
In addition to rolling forward with new music, the band also recently released a new set of dates for their The Last Resort Tour.
It’s always a good time with this trio and their new music video is proof. Bringing their song “Longneck Way To Go” to life with pal Jon Pardi, the boys of Midland show off their one-of-a-kind vibe with this dude-approved video.
“Jon is a lot like us,” Wystrach adds. “He’s a road dog who lives to play, runs with his band, knows when to laugh. He likes his country hard, and his beer cold. He was the perfect choice for this song, and we knew we needed the video to capture all of that. And this isn’t a sad drinking song, even though the guy got left, this is a fun drinking to forget song – so we needed a place that busted the cliché of drunk in bar. Man, did Harper nail it!”
