While signing albums in his Vegas hotel room, Kenny Chesney got an unexpected serenade from a Mariachi band, courtesy of Moroney, as the group entered the room playing the holiday favorite, “Feliz Navidad.”

“That was a surprise to me,” Megan says of the song choice, but the gesture was an effort to catch Kenny by surprise. “So I did the Mariachi band thing just because it's really hard to surprise Kenny. So you've got to really think outside the box. For whatever reason that was what I came up with that day.”

“I just wanted to cheer them up, and so, yeah. Mariachi band. I actually requested that they do ‘She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy,’ and they said no English songs. So, we were like, ‘Okay, do whatever.’”

Moroney also spoke openly about her mental health journey, detailing how therapy has helped her navigate the intense public scrutiny that followed her rise to fame, sharing that she has learned to protect her peace by refusing to internalize negativity, maintaining a clear boundary between her own worth and public opinion.

"My brain knows to bounce that off of me and I'm like ‘no, that's not my problem. How you feel about me is not my problem.’"
