Ryan Reynolds got a non-family member into Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce’s family suite with some sneaky planning.

This happened for Jason, not Kansas City Chief Travis Kelce and his megastar girlfriend Taylor Swift (the Chiefs game was in New York, which she attended), and the Eagles’ game against the Washington Commanders happening in Philadelphia, on Oct. 1.

Donna Kelce, mother of the NFL star brothers, went viral the week before as she celebrated with Swift during a Chiefs game. So, for the Eagles vs. Commanders game, Reynolds’ marketing company, Maximum Effort, looked to create another viral moment with Donna chatting to a surprising guest, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Jake From State Farm, the insurance company’s spokesperson, played by actor Kevin Miles would be appearing this time around.

Maximum Effort and State Farm began hatching the plan to get Miles into the Kelce suite but had to figure out logistics of getting him to Philadelphia as he had a busy week of commercial filming.

With Miles on board, Reyonlds’ co-owner of soccer team Wrexham F.C. and creator of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Rob McElhenney reached out to the Kelces to get their blessing.

With the all good from camp Kelce, Reynolds reached out to Swift, to make sure she knew they weren’t poking fun at her NFL vitality.

With on the ground gameday planning, the meeting between Donna Kelce and Jake From State Farm happened and showed up on the Fox broadcast of the Eagles vs. Commanders game.

Advertising success.
