Earlier this week, the “Dead to Me” actress revealed to fans that she is battling multiple sclerosis.
Blair knows exactly what Applegate is going through as she was diagnosed with MS three years ago.
“Loving you always,” the 49-year-old tweeted to Applegate. “Always here. As are our kids. Beating us up with love," she added.
Applegate responded with a joke about their families.
“I love our two weirdos. They are so fun,” Applegate wrote back referring to her 10-year-old daughter, Sadie, and Blair's 10-year-old son, Arthur, per Today,
Applegate informed the world about her diagnosis on August 10, though she revealed that she's known for a "few months."
“It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road,” she explained.
“As one of my friends that has MS said ‘we wake up and take the indicated action’. And that’s what I do,” she wrote in another tweet. “So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. Thank you xo.”
Multiple sclerosis, also known as MS, is a potentially disabling disease of the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord, which can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves.
The "Married... with Children" vet is a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in 2008 and underwent a double mastectomy shortly after.
In April, Blair opened up about the first time she thought she might be suffering from a health issue. The “Cruel Intentions” actress, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2018, says she couldn’t feel her leg while appearing in a show for Christian Siriano during New York Fashion Week in February.
She said she had experienced similar problems before that she didn’t think were serious.
